David Prutton predicts Leeds v Sheffield Wednesday, states what is surprising
By Amir Mir
David Prutton has predicted Leeds to record a 2-2 draw with Sheffield Wednesday on Saturday afternoon at Elland Road.
Sky Sports pundit Prutton stated that he was surprised that Wednesday suffered a defeat against Brentford in midweek.
That resulted damaged their chances of enhancing their promotion credentials as they will be looking to bounce back against the Whites at the weekend.
Garry Monk’s side are level on points with their Yorkshire neighbours in the table but currently sit one place above them with the duo occupying a top-six spot.
This match could have a huge bearing on whether or not the duo will finish in the top six come the end of the campaign.

Ahead of the mouth-watering tie, former Nottingham Forest midfielder Prutton delivered his verdict on the match.
“Wednesday’s loss to Brentford did surprise me,” Prutton told Sky Sports. “They had a big penalty shout turned down and quite quickly conceded at the other end.
“This is a tough one and it couldn’t be any closer in the league. Come the end of the season, this result could have a massive bearing on their final positions.
“Leeds saw the intensity of a Yorkshire derby against Huddersfield a few weeks ago and I think it will be the same again against Wednesday.”
Striker Chris Wood will be one of the dangermen for the away team as the New Zealand international has been in sparkling form this term.
He has netted 19 goals in the Championship during this campaign as he is well on course to break the 20 goal barrier and possibly net 30 goals come the last game of the season.
Monk’s side drew their last match when they recorded a 1-1 draw against Championship strugglers Ipswich at Portman Road.
Furthermore, the Whites have only suffered two defeats in front of their own supporters this term, most recently against Cardiff.
In other Leeds news, Garry Monk has dampened fears about this senior player.
