David Prutton: This group of Leeds players are keen for Monk to leave

David Prutton believes those who are out of the picture at Leeds would be keen to see Garry Monk leave the club in the summer.
The 38-year-old has a deal at Elland Road which expires in June as he is yet to sign a contract extension at the club.
As a result, his future is in doubt after he missed out on the chance to help his team secure a play-off place.
Monk confirmed that he will hold talks with the club about his future after their clash against Wigan on Sunday.
Former Nottingham Forest midfielder Prutton believes putting Monk’s future in the air could cause problems within the squad.

“That’s something for the club to ponder as they decide where to go next with Garry,” Prutton told the Yorkshire Evening Post.
“Whenever a manager’s future is in doubt, you can split a squad into two camps: those who are desperate for him to stay and those who are a bit out of the picture and quite keen for him to go.”
For the majority of the season, it was going smoothly for Monk and his team as they were on course to clinch that all important top six spot.
In mid-March they beat, the now promoted Brighton 2-0 on home soil, as they even had the possibility of catching the top two in the table.
However, four defeats in April all but ended their chances of making a possible return to the Premier League.
In other Leeds news, Sky Whispers has suggested that this Whites transfer is almost a sure thing.
