David Sullivan: This is how many players West Ham could sign in January

David Sullivan has stated that he hopes West Ham can sign up to three players during the January transfer window.
Co-chairman Sullivan also revealed that with the three incomings, three players could also leave the London Stadium.
However, the West Ham senior figure did acknowledge that the east London club, in reality, may not sign any players at all.
“There is no expectation about what we might do,” Sullivan told Sky Sports. “Only hope. Maybe three players out and three players in, but that is only the hope. In reality, your hopes don’t always come true, and we could end up doing no business at all.”
Slaven Bilic’s side have had a difficult start to the 2016/17 Premier League campaign, which has seen them battle it out at the bottom half of the table.

They have won five out of their opening 17 league games this term, with the move to the London Stadium proving to be a major talking point.
Off the field issues have made the headlines for the wrong reasons as the Irons have taken their time to adjust to their new home, after moving from their iconic Boleyn Ground.
Nonetheless, they have picked up back-to-back wins on home soil during their last two matches, albeit the victories have been controversial.
Both games were won via the penalty spot against newly-promoted duo Burnley and Hull and on both occasions the managers were unhappy with the referee’s decision.
However, the London club will be looking to make it three wins on the bounce when they travel to Wales to take on fellow strugglers Swansea on Boxing Day.
Bob Bradley’s side are sitting in the bottom three on 12 points from 17 games, while Bilic’s men are in 13th place on 19 points, knowing positive results over the festive period could see them move into the top ten.
In other West Ham transfer news, Slaven Bilic has revealed that he will not hold back on this 27-year-old player.
