Barcelona representatives are travelling to England to finalise a deal with Liverpool for midfielder Philippe Coutinho, according to a recent report in Spain.

Mundo Deportivo has revealed that Nou Camp representatives have flown to the UK to finalise a deal with the 25-year-old and hope to complete the agreement on Tuesday.

The Spanish media outlet claims that Oscar Grau, the La Liga outfit’s director, has travelled to the club with director of football Raul Sanllehi and board executive Javier Bordas.

It is understood that the Nou Camp officials are keen on securing the deal quickly so they can move on to sign Borussia Dortmund midfielder Ousmane Dembele.

Barcelona have a lot of cash to spend in the remaining weeks of the summer transfer window after selling Neymar to Paris Saint Germain for a record £198 million fee.
