Dean Ashton believes West Ham could cause an upset at the Emirates Stadium against Arsenal on Wednesday night’s Premier League clash.
The Hammers will be looking to end a dismal run of form that has seen them fail to win in their last six outings, losing four consecutive matches against the likes of Leicester, Hull and Chelsea.
Despite their form, ex-Hammers striker Ashton replied to a fan on his personal Twitter account that his former side could beat Arsenal because they have “more chance away from home”.
Dean, thoughts on our game against arsenal tonight? COYI⚒❤

Arsene Wenger’s Arsenal are also in the middle of a sticky patch of form that has seen them win three times in just 10 league and cup encounters, with two of those triumphs coming against non-league opponents.
However, the Gunners will come into the match as favourites after securing a 2-2 draw against Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City on Sunday afternoon.
East London outfit West Ham will be desperate to avoid a repeat of the last time the two sides met, with Arsenal triumphing 5-1 last time out against Bilic’s side at the London Stadium.
Bilic’s side now sit in a lowly 15th place in the Premier League and are in danger of being dragged into a relegation battle, with only six points separating them from Hull in 18th place.
In other West Ham news, this Liverpool star is reportedly being targeted by the Hammers in a deal worth £16million.
