Man United fans are adamant that they want the club to sign Dean Huijsen despite competition after an update was provided on his future.
Huijsen has caught the attention of some of Europe’s top clubs including Liverpool after his impressive first season with Bournemouth. Manchester United are also among the teams reportedly interested in securing his services.
Fabrizio Romano has now provided an update, confirming that Huijsen will have a £50 million release clause in the summer, which could spark competition for his signing.
Chelsea fans have also expressed their desire for their club to pursue Huijsen, but it’s United’s fanbase that has recently shown the most excitement, hoping the club will act on this opportunity.

Since his summer move from Juventus, the 19-year-old has quickly established himself as a regular in Andoni Iraola’s defence.
Huijsen has made 22 appearances, scoring twice and accumulating over 1600 minutes of play. Notably, he’s played every minute of the side’s Premier League matches since December 5, underlining his importance to the team.
Bournemouth’s young defensive setup has caught the attention of many clubs, with Liverpool also interested in Milos Kerkez, who has followed a similar path to Huijsen this season.
The Man United faithful were not pleased when Harry Maguire signed a new extension with the club, and with Lisandro Martinez currently sidelined due to a long-term injury, a left-footed centre-back like Huijsen could be a perfect fit, whether for rotation or as a regular starter.
