Dean Huijsen responds to Antoine Semenyo’s message amid Bournemouth exit rumours
Antoine Semenyo has taken to social media with a new message as rumours continue to swirl around his future at Bournemouth.
Semenyo, who is already in Man United’s plans ahead of next season, scored a brilliant opener during the 1-1 draw against Ruben Amorim’s side on Sunday, 27 April, with Rasmus Hojlund netting a late equaliser.
It was the winger’s 11th goal of the campaign across all competitions, with many of his efforts likely playing a key role for the Cherries if they can secure a top-half finish in the Premier League this term.
Andoni Iraola has done an incredible job, with his side now four points clear of 11th-place Brentford with four matches remaining, and it was another well-earned point at the Vitality Stadium.
Antoine Semenyo crucial again in Bournemouth v Man United
Taking to Instagram (28 April), Semenyo shared an edit of his goal against Man United with the caption: “4 finals to go,” and a red emoji.
Tottenham’s Dominic Solanke and Nottingham Forest’s Ola Aina both liked the post, while Dean Huijsen, who is eyeing a big-money move to Chelsea, simply replied with a heart emoji.

Bournemouth preparing for summer of change after superb 2024/25 campaign
Football Insider verdict
Bill Foley has already made his ambitions for the club clear, which will be a huge relief to Iraola, but with Semenyo, Huijsen and Milos Kerkez all linked with exits, it might be difficult to keep the squad together.
Kerkez has been strongly linked with Liverpool ahead of the summer transfer window, and losing any of the aforementioned trio would be a huge blow to the Cherries before the 2025/26 campaign.
Premier League standings | Goal difference | Points |
8. Fulham | +4 | 51 |
9. Brighton | +1 | 51 |
10. Bournemouth | +12 | 50 |
11. Brentford | +6 | 46 |
12. Crystal Palace | -4 | 45 |
Of course, if the owner is serious about backing his manager, it will be a simple decision to replace these stars with some big-money moves, but it is not always that simple.
Not getting the full backing from his owners could prompt Iraola into seeking a move away from Bournemouth, especially after links to Tottenham and replacing Ange Postecoglou.
Fans will be getting nervous ahead of the summer transfer window, and understandably so, but with four matches remaining in the Premier League, Iraola and his players will only be focusing on their football.
