Dean Huijsen sends two-word message to Bournemouth’s Ryan Christie amid exit links

Dean Huijsen has taken to social media with a new message for Ryan Christie following news surrounding his Bournemouth teammate.

The Spain international has become a regular under Andoni Iraola, even scoring twice in the Premier League, and Mick Brown told Football Insider that Huijsen is a top target for Liverpool this summer.

At just 19 years of age, the former AS Roma defender has made headlines across the world of football and is unlikely to remain at the Vitality Stadium for much longer, given all the interest.

One player, however, who looks to have cemented his spot in the Cherries’ lineup and is unlikely to be moving anytime soon is midfielder Ryan Christie, who is now in his fourth season on the coast.

Sadly for the Scot, he has been ruled out until the end of the season with a new injury, and is now receiving messages from his teammates as the end-of-season run-in continues.

Taking to Instagram stories (9 April), Huijsen wrote: “Come back soon. Good luck with your recovery, Ryan Christie,” sharing the club’s official video of the midfielder.

Andoni Iraola ready to achieve incredible campaign at the Vitality

Football Insider verdict

Iraola seems to be involved in the same category as Brentford’s Thomas Frank and Fulham’s Marco Silva, especially when it comes to who could replace Ange Postecoglou at Tottenham.

Given the Spaniard’s achievements at the Vitality Stadium so far, it is really no surprise, and there are still seven league matches remaining to push as far up the Premier League table as possible.

With Arsenal’s 3-0 victory over Real Madrid meaning English clubs get one more Champions League spot, there is a lot more to fight for when it comes to European qualification now.

The likes of Huijsen, Antoine Semenyo, Milos Kerkez and Evanilson might all be on their way out of the exit doors this summer, but Iraola needs as much support from the club owners as possible.

Bill Foley has shown his passion and drive to push Bournemouth up the Premier League table, and with plenty of stars being linked with exits, this summer is the perfect chance for him to prove that.
