Dean Huijsen shares Bournemouth training ground update after Chelsea exit reveal
Bournemouth defender Dean Huijsen took to social media to share a training ground update after the club’s response to exit rumours was revealed.
Huijsen arrived at the Vitality Stadium from Italian giants Juventus just six months ago for a fee of £12.6million and is now regarded as one of the most exciting young defensive talents in Europe.
According to Fabrizio Romano, the young centre-back has a release clause in his Bournemouth contract that will be valid in the summer transfer window.
Andoni Iraola’s side are in remarkable form and are yet to lose a game in which Huijsen has partnered Illia Zabarnyi at the heart of their defence.
Bournemouth are currently in the race for Champions League qualification once the season ends, sitting in seventh, just one point off Man City in fourth with 40 points from their 23 games.
Dean Huijsen takes a light-hearted approach to training after Bournemouth exit reveal
Huijsen has been key for Bournemouth this season, starting 14 of his 19 games across all competitions, popping up with two goals, and providing zero assists in his 1330 minutes of action.
He took to Instagram to share a video originally posted by the club from their most recent training session, with two of his teammates seemingly getting nutmegged, saying: “Unluckyyyy.”

Both Huijsen and Bournemouth will face the ultimate Premier League test on Saturday (February 1) as they host league leaders Liverpool.
Their attention will then turn to their FA Cup fourth-round tie with Everton the week after (February 8), doubles hoping for a good cup run.
