Declan Rice ‘looking to move on’ from West Ham this summer amid ‘incredible’ claim – pundit

Declan Rice “will be looking to move on” from West Ham at the end of this season, according to Kevin Campbell.

The former Arsenal striker, speaking exclusively to Football Insider, claimed the 23-year-old has been “too good to ignore” this term.

The Sun reported earlier this month (3 January) that Man United’s hopes of landing Rice have been given a “major boost” with West Ham slipping up in the race for Champions League football.

The report claims Man City and Chelsea are also long-term admirers of the England international.

Campbell claimed Irons boss David Moyes could be forced to work more transfer “magic” if Rice moves on this summer.

“It’s out of their hands in the race for top four, because there are teams with games in hand,” he told Football Insider‘s Dylan Childs.

“The race has well and truly started for those positions, that’s for sure.

“We know Declan Rice has been incredible for West Ham this season – I think he’s already their player of the season.

“I think come the end of the season, Rice will be looking to move on. He’s performed so consistently, and he’s been far too good to ignore.

“The one source of encouragement for West Ham fans will be that they know David Moyes is more than capable of picking out his replacement.

“He’ll work his magic.”

West Ham are one point adrift of fourth-place Man United having played one game more than the Old Trafford club.

The Red Devils won out when the two sides squared off last weekend (22 January).

Irons captain Rice has made 28 appearances this term, scoring three and assisting four.
