Dejan Kulusevski pictured with James Maddison in encouraging Tottenham recovery update
Dejan Kulusevski shared an encouraging update along with Tottenham teammate James Maddison on their recoveries from injury.
Kulusevski had been an important part of Ange Postecoglou’s Tottenham side last term, but has yet to feature under Thomas Frank.
Kulusevski underwent knee surgery at the end of last season, which saw the Swede miss the Europa League final.
He wasn’t the only creative player the side lost to injury as Maddison suffered an ACL tear in pre-season, and is likely to be out for the majority of the campaign.
Now, the two are pictured together at the club as they both continue their recovery from their setbacks.

Kulusevski reposted Maddison’s Instagram story that showed both players in the gym together. The caption attached to the picture read: “We’re hungry. Let’s eat (in the gym).”
Kulusevski had posted an update on his surgery earlier in the summer, though a clear timescale for his full recovery has yet to be confirmed.
Despite Spurs’ domestic struggles, the Swede has enjoyed a strong individual season, registering 10 goals and providing 11 assists across all competitions.
He had also been linked with a move away, as Football Insider has revealed that Kulusevski was open to a move to AC Milan this summer amid interest from the Italian giants.
However, with the forward undergoing surgery, a move didn’t materialise in the window.
As for Maddison, he has continued to support the team from the stands, but is also expected to be out for a lengthy period.
Tottenham told Conor Gallagher stance
The Spurs hierarchy have kept themselves busy after the transfer window, and remain focused on strengthening their midfield.
Football Insider revealed that Tottenham were told it would take a huge offer to sign Conor Gallagher from Atletico Madrid in January, but a move hasn’t been ruled out.
Tottenham have been tipped to enter a bidding war for Gallagher, with Man United and Crystal Palace also interested.
The club didn’t make a move in the summer despite their long-standing interest, but may return in the winter window to bolster their midfield options.
