Dele Alli is ‘annoyed’ with Tottenham and ‘has to go’ in January – pundit
Frank McAvennie claims Dele Alli is “annoyed” at Tottenham and needs to move away from the club.
The former West Ham hitman, speaking exclusively to Football Insider, insists the midfielder can still have a “magnificent” career.
Alli, 25, started 25 November’s shock loss to Mura in the number 10 role behind Harry Kane and played 54 minutes before he was replaced by Son Heung-Min.

The midfielder has struggled to hold down a starting spot under Jose Mourinho, Nuno and now Antonio Conte, and was once again omitted from the starting XI for Thursday night’s (2 December) 2-0 win over Brentford.
McAvennie claims Alli isn’t getting what he needs at Tottenham and insisted finding a new club could spark a revival.
“He’s got to go,” McAvennie told Football Insider correspondent Ben Wild.
“That’s not a slight against Dele Alli, he’s a wonderful player. But sometimes it just isn’t working.
“For whatever reason, whether it’s his attitude or the manager’s style, he can’t get it right.
“He’s lost his mojo. I think he will be quite annoyed actually. I’m not sure the club have given him what he needs.
“He developed into a player who needs to be the centre of attention there and he’s not getting that.
“He’s still young enough to go on and have a magnificent career. He has that in his locker.
“A January move can do that for you. There is absolutely no doubt he’s a good player.”

Alli has made 14 appearances for Spurs in all competitions this season.
He has scored two goals.
