Manchester United supporters have taken to social to express their anger after England manager Gareth Southgate decided to start youngster Marcus Rashford.
The 19-year-old has been deployed in the England starting lineup to face Lithuania on Sunday afternoon in the World Cup qualifier.
However, the Three Lions have already secured their place in next year’s World Cup thanks to Harry Kane’s last-gasp winner in the midweek match against Slovenia at Wembley Stadium.
Although Southgate has made a number of changes to the team that started in the national stadium, Rashford has maintained his place up top alongside skipper Harry Kane.
The supporters from the red half of Manchester took to social media to deliver their verdict on Southgate’s decision and the majority of them are far from pleased.

United fans appear to be concerned that the youngster could pick up a needless injury in a match that carries less importance due to the midweek result.
Jose Mourinho’s side will already be without midfielder Marouane Fellaini for the upcoming Premier League clash against bitter rivals Liverpool next weekend after he suffered a knee injury playing for Belgium.
Rashford has enjoyed a fine start to the season with the Manchester club, contributing with five goals and four assists in all competitions.
