Dewsbury-Hall to ‘stick around at Chelsea and wait for Maresca to be sacked’
Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall has been heavily linked with a move away from Chelsea this summer just 12 months after joining the club from Leicester.
Since his £30million move, the 26-year-old has played just 254 minutes of Premier League football and has started just 17 games across all competitions.
As a result, clubs including the likes of Everton, Aston Villa and West Ham have all shown an interest in his signature ahead of the summer transfer window.
However, former England goalkeeper Paul Robinson has told Football Insider that Dewsbury-Hall could outlast Enzo Maresca at Stamford Bridge.
The midfielder has been backed to turn down interest from elsewhere in the hope that a new manager would provide him with the chance at more involvement.
This comes after former Man United chief scout Mick Brown told Football Insider Chelsea are asking questions of Maresca amid growing pressure from fans.

Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall to turn down Chelsea exit offers
Football Insider revealed in December that Chelsea had made Dewsbury-Hall available for transfer, but no clubs were prepared to follow up on their mid-season interest.
However, that interest has reignited ahead of the off-season with the likes of Everton spoken about in connection with a permanent deal.
Speaking on the latest edition of Football Insider’s Inside Track podcast, Robinson explained that he may prove too expensive for Everton given he is on a long-term contract, and could instead opt to remain at Chelsea in the hope of more game time.
“He’s got a contract until 2029 and he’s still in is first season there,” he told Football Insider.
“I think he would probably have wanted to start more games and play in bigger games.
“With Enzo Maresca being there, he would have expected to have done that because he knows him well from his time at Leicester.
“From the player’s point of view, he’ll wait and see if Maresca is still there at the start of next season.
“A new manager might come in with new ideas, players might get shifted in and out.
“I don’t think he’s desperate to leave Chelsea, he’s too expensive for a team like Everton, and I don’t think it would be a bad decision to stay at Chelsea.”

Jamie Gittens to return to England as Blues race Liverpool
While speculation continues about potential departures from Stamford Bridge this summer, there is set to be a focus on improving Maresa’s squad.
Brown told Football Insider on 28 April that Chelsea want to sign Jamie Gittens and are leading Liverpool in the race to sign the Borussia Dortmund star.
Gittens is widely expected to return to the Premier League this summer for the first time since leaving Man City in 2020, with teams queuing up for his signature.
This comes after Brown told Football Insider in January that Gittens is open to joining Chelsea and is interested in the possibility of returning to England.
