Aston Villa put one over their Birmingham rivals in the Championship on Sunday afternoon with an assured performance that saw them win 2-0.
Goals from Albert Adomah in the 60th minute followed by an 80th-minute effort from Conor Hourihane was enough to take all three points from the game and make it seven wins from the last seven games.
It was a victory which pushed Steve Bruce’s side back up to second in the table, into the automatic promotion places by a single point after Derby County could only draw last time out.
But it was the display of Jack Grealish once again that had the Villa Park faithful in raptures as he played a key role in the victory and the two goals scored.
Much has been spoken about the talented talented 22-year-old midfielder, who many felt wasn’t living up to his hype, but under Bruce this season the Birmingham native finally seems to be meeting expectations.
Here is a selection of Tweets from Villa supporters raving about their star man:

Never been a great fan of Grealish but since his injury, he has been immense. Great feet and rare to see a player take on players. Crucial to the villa team now. Massive credit to Bruce too for getting the best out of him. ???????????????????????????????? @AVFCOfficial
