Digne has his ‘bags packed’ and ‘buzzing’ to quit Everton after transfer update – pundit
Lucas Digne will have his “bags packed” and will be “buzzing” to leave Everton in January, according to Gabby Agbonlahor.
Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, the ex-Aston Villa and England forward delivered his verdict as Everton close in on the signing of Dynamo Kyiv’s left-back Vitaliy Mykolenko.
Fabrizio Romano reported on his Twitch channel yesterday (20 December) it is a “done deal” and all that is needed is the official announcement.

It leaves Digne in a precarious position having not featured for Rafa Benitez’s side since the 4-1 defeat to Liverpool in the Merseyside derby at the beginning of December.
The Athletic reported earlier this month (8 December) the pair had a falling out a public argument at the training ground.
“Sometimes it happens in football, managers and players fall out,” Agbonlahor told Football Insider correspondent Connor Whitley.
“Lucas Digne is a top, top, top left-back who will get a top, top, top club. If I’m him, I’m not bothered. I’m not having him speak down to me or anything. I’m like ‘No problem, I’ll go’.
“He’s not at a team that’s pushing for the top four. He’s come from Barcelona and Everton haven’t gone where he wanted them to go when he signed.
“He probably wants to leave anyway then the manager falls out with you. He’s probably buzzing to leave.

“For me, if I’m Digne I’ve got my bags packed ready to leave on a flight out of Liverpool. No problem for him.
“This left-back that they are bringing in better be good because Lucas Digne is a top, top left-back and they’ll miss him.”
