Diogo Jota shares fitness update in Liverpool training ground message
Liverpool forward Diogo Jota has taken to social media to share a fitness update ahead of their Premier League clash with Fulham on Saturday (December 12).
The 28-year-old has been out of action since late October after picking up a rin injury in Liverpool’s 2-1 Premier League win over title rivals Chelsea.
Chelsea defender Tosin Adarabioyo fell on the Portugal international while he was running through on goal, causing Jota to miss Liverpool’s last 12 games across all competitions.
Arne Slot’s side have managed to cope without Jota, sitting at the top of the Premier League and Champions League tables having lost just one game all season.
Jota was a major part of Liverpool’s early season success, starting nine of his ten appearances across all competitions, scoring four goals, and providing two assists in 653 minutes of action.

Liverpool are four points above Chelsea in second with a game in hand after their Merseyside derby clash with Everton was postponed due to severe weather caused by Storm Darragh.
The forward took to Instagram to share an image originally posted by the official Liverpool account of himself in the gym, working towards his return.

Liverpool still have five games remaining in December alone, including a League Cup quarter-final against Russell Martin’s struggling Southampton side.
Marco Silva’s impressive Fulham side won’t be easy opponents for Liverpool, with Chelsea having the opportunity to close the gap to just one point when they face Brentford on Sunday (December 15).
