Celtic 25-year-old sends Instagram message to fans after injury blow
Celtic midfielder Tom Rogic has taken to social media to give supporters an update about why he hasn’t featured for the Hoops in the last few games.
As revealed on his personal Instagram page, the Australian international has a knee injury and will miss at least the next two weeks, including Celtic’s league matches against Aberdeen and Rangers.
“Disappointed to miss the next two weeks through injury” he began, as quoted on Instagram. “It has been another special season so far and hopefully we can keep the run going.”
The 25-year-old has been in and out of the Celtic side so far this season, but has still scored two goals, including the opener in the 2-0 win over Rangers at Ibrox in September.
Rogic wrote himself into Hoops folklore last season when he scored the injury time winning goal against Aberdeen in the Scottish Cup Final that secured Celtic’s first domestic treble since 2001.
Among the games Rogic will be absent for is the Bhoys’ next league encounter, which is a trip to Tynecastle to play Hearts.
