'I've got a fight on my hands' – Greg Docherty delivers verdict on Rangers deal

Rangers’ new signing Greg Docherty has spoken with pride after signing for the Gers yesterday.
Graeme Murty’s latest arrival at Ibrox has been talking to at the pr-match press conference and told the awaiting media, ‘It doesn’t get bigger than this in Scotland’.

The 21-year-old arrived from Hamilton Academic and a deal was announced on Thursday evening after the two parties completed the paperwork and a medical.
Docherty, a lifelong Rangers fan, had been with the Accies since the age of nine before he signed a four-and-a-half year deal with the Light Blues.
And it would seem the midfielder could not be more pleased with the move as he revealed the club had big plans for the future and also insisted that his being a supporter of the club had nothing to do with the move.

Docherty will aim to be part of a new look Rangers side, as he is one of five new faces to enter the club during the January transfer window.
The 21-year-old will attempt to get his first taste of action for the Gers this weekend when the Light Blues head to Ross County on Sunday in the Scottish Premier League.
Rangers form has improved in the league of late and were it not for a disappointing start to the campaign, could have put pressure on Celtic for a chance to fight for the title.
