Man City are preparing to host an in-form Wolves side on 2 May in what could prove a pivotal match in the race for a Champions League place.
Haaland has been sidelined for Man City since March after suffering an ankle injury, missing a number of key fixtures.
Despite the absence of their top scorer, the side have coped well, reaching the FA Cup final and maintaining their momentum in the league.
Now, the Norwegian has given fans a boost with a positive update on his recovery that will be a major boost to Pep Guardiola’s side.

Erling Haaland returns to training in boost to Man City’s Champions League hopes
The Norwegian confirmed his return to training with photos from the club’s latest session, captioned: “Getting better, feeling better”.
His post drew reactions from across the Premier League, with teammate Jack Grealish liking the update, along with Liverpool’s Dominik Szoboszlai and Aston Villa’s Amadou Onana also showing support.
While it’s been a mixed season for City, Haaland has continued to deliver in front of goal, netting 30 times and providing four assists in 40 appearances across all competitions.
Despite the challenges Pep Guardiola’s side have faced, the striker has remained committed to the club’s project. Haaland signed a new nine-year contract earlier this season, signalling his intent to lead the club’s next chapter.
With key players such as Bernardo Silva and Ederson linked with summer exits from Man City, Haaland looks set to be the figurehead of a new era at the Etihad — though securing Champions League qualification remains the first step in that rebuild.
Man City set for Rodri contract talks amid key return from injury

Football Insider revealed that the club are eager to secure the midfielder’s future, with Man City starting contract talks with Rodri despite interest from Real Madrid.
City have clearly felt the Ballon d’Or winner’s absence throughout the season, and it seems as if Guardiola and the club hierarchy are determined to keep him at the heart of their future plans.
