Norwegian midfielder Kristoffer Ajer has joined Celtic on a free transfer, the club announced on Wednesday morning.
The 17-year-old, who currently plays for Start in his homeland, has signed a four-year deal that will take him through to June 2020.
Ajer is a free agent in the summer and will link up with the Scottish champions when his Start contract expires.

He arrived in Scotland on Tuesday to finalise terms and undergo a medical before completing the transfer.
Ajer spent a week on trial at Lennoxtown in January, impressing manager and compatriot Ronny Deila enough for him to recommend that the player be offered a long-term contract.
Ajer told Norwegian TV: ‘It is huge for me. It’s a big dream I’ve worked for all my life and now it has come true.”
