Done deal: Leeds finalise paperwork on two-year forward agreement
Leeds United have confirmed that nine young players have agreed terms for scholarship deals at Elland Road.
Among the names is forward exciting forward Henri Kumwenda, who has had the paperwork finalised on his new two-year deal ahead of the summer transfer window.

Kumwenda is joined by Dane Burlace, Charlie Cresswell, Cole Gibbon, Jack Jenkins, Connor Leak-Blunt, Mason Rubie, Jamie Thornton and Matthew Turner in signing deals at Elland Road.
All have been confirmed to have agreed two-year scholarship contracts which means that those aged 16 and under will undergo an education programme, which will be provided to them at Thorp Arch.

All of these young players will be buzzing after agreeing terms at one of England’s best academies. Some of the players are already known among fans and they will be delighted to see that they will have two years to continue their development at Thorp Arch. Hopefully Victor Orta does not continue to stuff the Under-23s squad with players from abroad that will clearly never play in the first-team. That may hamper youngsters like these from progressing to their potential. However with the way that Orta is perceived by fans, there’s not much chance that he would be around for too long.
In other Leeds United news, fans have been demanding that this 29-year-old leaves the Yorkshire club in the summer.
