Leeds midfielder Alex Purver has re-signed for non-league club Guiseley, it was confirmed on Thursday.
The National League announced on their official website that Purver has agreed to spend the rest of the season on loan at Nethermoor.
The Elland Road academy product, 21, initially joined Guiseley on loan in August and made 21 appearances before returning to Leeds when his half-season loan came to an end on 2 January.
Central midfielder Purver has now agreed to spend a second spell at the National League outfit as he aims to build on the progress he made in the opening half of the campaign.
Guiseley play in the non-league top tier although they are 16th in the division and well adrift of the teams jostling for promotion to League Two.
Purver, who has yet to make a first-team appearance for Leeds but was in the matchday squad for a number of pre-season friendlies, joined the club aged six.
He is out of contract at Leeds at the end of the season and, given that he has not yet been involved in the senior set-up, appears to be destined for a summer transfer.
The decision on his immediate future will now be made in the coming months by Leeds’ academy staff, Purver and his representatives.
In other Leeds transfer news, the club are to pounce and re-sign a 23-year-old after a £10million transfer is all but sealed.
