Leeds have revealed that Ivan Bravo has joined the club’s Board of Directors, it was confirmed on Tuesday.
The Whites have announced on the official website that Bravo has completed his move to Elland Road with immediate effect.
He moved to the Yorkshire club with an impressive CV after acting as the Director of Strategy at European giants Real Madrid.
Bravo spent seven years with the La Liga club between 2003-2010 and won seven trophies during that time.
He has revealed his delight about joining the Championship club and voiced his desire to help them move forward both on and off the pitch.
“Leeds United is a club steeped in prestige with an extremely proud fanbase and I am thrilled to join the Board of Directors. I hope my experience gained across the game will add value for the club and I look forward to working with the ownership, management and the whole team to take Leeds United forward, on and off the pitch.”
Bravo has now joined the six-man board at Leeds and replaced Feng Ze Yeh.
The Spaniard has joined Daniel Arty, Massimo Cellino, Niccolò Pio Barattieri di San Pietro, Andrea Radrizzani and Andre Tegner on the board.
Bravo is currently the director general of the Aspire Academy for Sports Excellence in Qatar and has helped their development.
Leeds are a club that are desperate to return to the Premier League and are still in the hunt for the play-offs this season, but have already begun preparations for the future with the introduction of a new board member.
In other Leeds news, they are in danger of losing their senior ace if they fail to get promoted.
