Done deal: Aston Villa complete move for PL enforcer as paperwork finalised
Manchester United defender Axel Tunazebe has signed a loan deal that will see him remain at Villa Park until the end of the season, according to the club.
Aston Villa made the announcement of the deal on the club’s official Twitter feed and website which is Steve Bruce’s first signing of the transfer window.

The Villans manager had been keen to take the young, versatile defender on loan but were facing opposition from the Red Devils boss Jose Mourinho who rates the player highly and wanted to check on the fitness of Eric Bailly before sanctioning a deal.
England U21 international, Tuanzebe, has featured just three times under the Portuguese this season and was keen on a move away in order to gain first team action.
News of the defender’s arrival in Birmingham could spell the end for a number of Bruce’s fringe team players after the Birmingham Mail reported that the likes of Easah Suliman, Birkir Bjarnason and Aaron Tshiboa could all be heading for the exit door if the boss bagged Tuanzebe.
The 20-year-old could potentially head straight into the Claret and Blue’s starting XI for the Championship league game against Sheffield United on Tuesday as the side push for a return to the Premier League.
