Manchester United fans on Twitter have raged at the club after allowing youngster Cameron Borthwick-Jackson a loan move to fierce rivals Leeds.
The official United Twitter account confirmed on Monday morning that the 20-year-old left-back would be spending the 2017-18 campaign at Elland Road with promotion chasing Leeds.

The loan move marks Borthwick-Jackson’s second of his career after also moving to Wolves in the Championship last season.
However, this summer’s deal has been frowned upon much more by the Manchester United faithful on social media with many unhappy that their club have done business with Leeds, who have been considered rivals due to the history of the two which often saw them competing at the top of the English pyramid.
Here are a selection of their messages on Twitter:

Good luck to CBJ although not that happy with him joining one of the few teams I really dislike.

Leeds last played Manchester United in September 2011, suffering a 3-0 loss at Elland Road after two goals from Michael Own and a solo Ryan Giggs effort.
The two clubs have also not been in the same league since 2004 after the Yorkshire outfit suffered relegation to England’s second tier 13 years a go.
However, it is clear that the dislike still remains and supporters will be hoping the two sides can battle on the pitch again in the near future.
In other Leeds news, a winner has been named in race for 23-year-old wanted by the Whites.
