Dr Dan: Paratici probe ‘doesn’t look good’ – and Tottenham reputation could nosedive
Tottenham manager director of football Fabio Paratici could suffer reputational damage amid a probe from Italian financial authorities.
So says football finance expert Doctor Dan Plumley, speaking exclusively to Football Insider about the potential impact of the investigation on Spurs.
As per Sky Sports (30 November) Paratici is one of six people under investigation for suspicious financial activity at Juventus.

The 49-year-old could be called to give evidence to the public prosecutor’s office later this month after financial police raided offices in Turin.
Tottenham only appointed Paratici in June.
The Italian recently played a major role in the acquisition of Antonio Conte as manager.
When asked by Football Insider‘s Dylan Childs if the investigation could have an impact on Paratici’s working relationship with Spurs, Plumley said:
“It doesn’t look good in any way, shape or form.
“When you look at that in terms of Juventus and Paratici, sanctions could be applied at club level or they could be applied at individual level.
“The reputation side of things needs to be considered. It could damage Paratici’s reputation.
“Does it do Tottenham any reputational damage? They are not involved in it directly but the people are. That is what we are looking at in regards to the damage on Spurs.”

Paratici spent 11 years with Juventus before departing for the Lilywhites.
He held the positions of Head of Technical Affairs and Sporting Director in Turin.
In other news, Juventus are plotting a raid for a Tottenham star as Conte makes up mind on accepting offer.
