Six agencies in hunt to sign up Tottenham first teamer amid fears he will quit - report

Six of football’s biggest agencies are in a battle to sign Dele Alli after he decided to split with his agent Rob Segal, according to a report.
The Telegraph claim there is a “huge scramble” for the Spurs playmaker even though his contract with English adviser Segal runs beyond the summer of 2018.
It is said that super agents Jorge Mendes and Mino Raiola have joined Stellar Group, Key Sports Management, Wasserman and Base Soccer in expressing an interesting in taking Alli on as a client.
The Telegraph report that Alli’s decision to change agents has sparked fears that Tottenham could struggle to hold on to him past this season.
The England international has emerged as one of the outstanding players in the Premier League after joining Spurs permanently in the summer of 2015.

In 100 matches for the north Londoners, Alli has scored 34 goals and supplied 24 assists, stand-out statistics for an attacking midfielder who does not turn 22 until next April.
Football Insider verdict:
There will be considerable concern in the Spurs boardroom that Alli is on the lookout for a new agent. He is surely heading for a collision course with the club given that the hiring of a new representative by a star player so often leads to him finding a new club soon afterwards. Just look at Romelu Lukaku, who severed his ties with long-term agent Christophe Henrotay last year to join forces with Raiola. Hey presto, and he was unveiled as Manchester United’s new £90million striker this summer. Joining up with either of Mendes or Raiola would increase speculation that Alli’s ultimate goal is a transfer from Tottenham to Real Madrid or Barcelona, where the agents have impeccable connections and are well placed to facilitate a move.
