Pierre-Michel Lasogga appears to have lost in the race for fitness for Leeds United’s clash against Wolves, according to a reliable journalist.
Yorkshire Evening Post reporter Phil Hay claimed on his personal Twitter account that the 25-year-old doesn’t appear to be involved in the squad for the Wednesday night Championship fixture at Molineux.
However it is understood that Stuart Dallas is back in contention to play against the West Midlands side after missing Sunday’s win over Middlesbrough due to a heavily bruised ankle he sustained on international duty with Northern Ireland.
Stuart Dallas is with the squad tonight. Doesn't look like Lasogga is here. A proper November night this one. #lufc

Senior player Lasogga missed the win against Garry Monk’s side due to illness but manager Thomas Christiansen had revealed earlier this week that the German forward, along with everyone else, was fit to play against Wolves.
Christiansen has often held his cards close to his chest while revealing details about injuries and his squad selection, so it doesn’t really come as a surprise that Lasogga remains on the sidelines.
Leeds got by just fine without the Hamburg loanee on Sunday in the win against Middlesbrough.
Kemar Roofe started up front in the 2-1 win and proved to be key in the second, decisive goal when his hard work allowed Pablo Hernandez to play in Ezgjan Alioski to score a tap-in.
Lasogga has been a mainstay of the Leeds senior team since arriving in the summer, making 11 appearances across all competitions since and scoring five goals.
Leeds’ official team news is expected at 06:45pm on Wednesday, an hour before kick-off against Wolves.
