Eberechi Eze reacts to two-word Marc Guehi message after Crystal Palace latest
Marc Guehi sent a two-word message to Crystal Palace fans as speculation over his future at Selhurst Park continues.
Palace fans, staff and players alike have been firmly in the mood for celebration across the past two weeks, after Oliver Glasner’s side beat Manchester City to lift the FA Cup and win their first major trophy.
A twelfth-placed Premier League finish saw the Eagles end their season on a six-game unbeaten run, with wins over both Tottenham and Wolves between four draws and two statement Wembley victories.
Glasner’s side swept Aston Villa aside in a 3-0 semi-final win before history was made on 17 May in their 1-0 victory over Manchester City in the decider, as Eberechi Eze’s goal broke a 120-year trophy drought.

Guehi gives Crystal Palace fans hope with two-word message
Eze rightfully took the plaudits for Palace after he scored the goal which won the first piece of major silverware in their entire history, but the Eagles’ FA Cup success was build on a rock-solid defensive unit.
Palace conceded just one goal in their five cup games prior to the final, and also kept City at bay despite Guehi’s withdrawal on the hour mark at Wembley with concussion and a suspected broken cheekbone.
Guehi has since sent messages to Palace fans thanking them for their support, and even highlighted the performances of Chelsea defender Trevoh Chalobah in their success after his loan spell at Selhurst Park.
After Palace’s open-top bus parade to celebrate their FA Cup victory, Guehi posted on Instagram (28 May) with a new message to supporters, and captioned his post with: “South London”.
Eze commented below the post with a love heart emoji, while Crystal Palace’s official account stated: “Yeah, we took over.”
Crystal Palace well placed to prevent Guehi transfer exit
Lewisham-raised Guehi re-affirming his affiliation with South London will undoubtedly give Palace fans some optimism that their captain will stay put this summer, as seemingly half the Premier League circles.
Man City’s former financial advisor Stefan Borson told Football Insider that Barcelona or Real Madrid could swoop in with a surprise move for Guehi this summer, as well as Chelsea, Spurs and Newcastle.
However, with long-time Palace skipper Joel Ward officially on his way out of Selhurst Park this summer, Guehi’s latest post could suggest that he doesn’t see his own future changing locations any time soon.
