Howe delivers verdict on Tottenham ahead of PL clash, compares to Chelsea

Eddie Howe believes his Bournemouth side are in for arguably the toughest match of the Premier League season away at Tottenham.
Spurs play host to Howe’s side on Saturday, as they look to reduce the deficit separating his side and league leaders Chelsea to just four points.
Speaking in his press conference ahead of Saturday’s clash, Howe claimed that Bournemouth’s experience of White Hart Lane last season will make the Cherries stronger against Spurs.
“We’re in a tough run of games so to have a good run of form was powerful for us. The Chelsea game wasn’t ideal, but I thought we were competitive,” Howe said, as quoted by Sky Sports.
“We go to Tottenham, which is arguably one of the hardest games of the season. Their form has been very good at home.

“They’re tactically different to Chelsea. If you make mistakes they’ll punish; we had a good experience there last season despite the loss and hopefully we can learn from that.”
Howe watched his side lose 3-0 in north London last season, as Harry Kane scored twice and Christian Eriksen also found the back of the net in a comfortable win for Spurs.
However, Howe is keen for his players to learn from that ahead of Saturday’s clash and will draw confidence from the fact that they secured a 0-0 draw against Spurs earlier this season.
Spurs come into the game after seven successive wins, as well as winning their last 11 Premier League home games at the Lane.
A win for Spurs will heap all the pressure onto Antonio Conte’s side to get a result against Man United on Sunday at Old Trafford, as the Blues remain seven points clear.
