Eddie Nketiah has instructed his former club to take good care of Eberechi Eze after he left Crystal Palace to join Arsenal.
After many Tottenham fans thought the deal was done, north London rivals Arsenal swooped in to sign Eze from Palace.
The transfer outraged Spurs fans who were infuriated with the supposed “penny-pinching” tactics of Daniel Levy that prevented the deal coming to fruition.
As the Eagles’ talisman sat in the crowd at the Emirates for his new side’s 5-0 demolition of newly-promoted Leeds, former Palace teammates have been wishing him good luck as he starts his new journey with the Gunners on the other side of London.

Taking to Instagram stories (23 August), former Gunner and teammate to the new man in north London Nketiah sent his best wishes to the departing Eze.
Captioned: “Look after ma boy”, the Englishman requested his old club take good care of the new arrival, potentially eluding to the fact that the former QPR attacker was released from Arsenal when he was a young boy.
Presumably, the Palace number nine would have had conversation with Eze over his move to the Emirates, considering he has had experience playing in the senior team.

Whilst it is well-known the 27-year-old adores the Eagles and what Selhurst Park provided him with during a critical period in his career, now is the right time for the midfield maestro to move to a bigger club.
Having won the FA Cup and the Community Shield with Oliver Glasner, the England international will almost certainly go down as a club legend.
Eze left everything on the pitch for the south London side and leaves with his head held high, maintaining solid relations and raising significant funds for Steve Parish and co. to reinvest.

With the Gunners, Mikel Arteta is building something impressive and now, after spending more money than Pep Guardiola during his time in charge of Arsenal, there is added pressure to win big.
The added creativity of the new arrival will certainly lead to better attacking numbers as well as pushing captain Martin Odegaard to perform at a higher level.
Where he lines up in the team remains to be seen, whether off the left or in the triangle in midfield, but his talent is well documented and should lend itself nicely to the Gunners striving to finally get their hands on a trophy.
