Eight goals in two seasons: Three Leeds flops that must follow Bellusci and Silvestri through exit door

COMMENT By Will Butcher

Thomas Christiansen must continue his exodus of players from Leeds this summer with three first-team stars that are no longer in his plans.

The Spanish manager has waved goodbye to troublesome duo Giuseppe Bellusci amd Marco Silvestri, with the latter joining Verona on Wednesday while Bellusci remains a free agent.

Christiansen has confirmed nine new deals for his new-look first team squad this summer, including permanent deals for Hadi Sacko and Pontus Jansson, with the latest recruit coming in the form of Everton’s Matthew Pennington on loan.

With a huge influx of players, a number of first-team stars are set to lose their position in the side.

Football Insider considers three that are most likely to be sold in the next six weeks by the former APOEL Nicosia manager to make room for his new recruits.
