‘Elon Musk sale will ruin Liverpool’ – Fans warn John Henry ‘don’t you dare’
Liverpool fans are steering clear of any links to Elon Musk being interested in buying the club and would rather “FSG in“.
Tesla and X owner Elon Musk has been linked with buying Liverpool, and his father, Errol Musk, has confirmed there is some interest.
Speaking on Times Radio via talkSPORT, he responded to a question about the reported interest: “I can’t comment on that. They’ll raise the price.
“Oh yes, [he has expressed a desire], but that doesn’t mean he’s buying it”.
He added: “My son would love to buy Liverpool. His grandmother is from there, we have family there, and The Beatles grew up with our family.”
Liverpool fans would prefer to have FSG in charge rather than Elon Musk
The Reds are currently top of the Premier League and are enjoying an exceptional first season under Arne Slot.
However, contract negotiations with Mohamed Salah, Trent Alexander-Arnold, and Virgil van Dijk have dominated the headlines instead.
Fans have heavily criticised owners Fenway Sports Group (FSG) for their handling of the situation, leaving all three star players with just six months remaining on their contracts.
This uncertainty has led to frustration, with many questioning the owners’ commitment to the club’s future.

Despite this, the club remain confident of securing new deals for Salah and Van Dijk, and such agreements could help restore faith.
Interestingly, the possibility of Musk becoming the club’s new owner has sparked a wave of renewed support for FSG. Many fans are now voicing their preference for FSG to remain in charge.
One fan tweeted, “Forget everything I said. #FSGin” while another tagged John Henry in a post that read, “Don’t you dare”.
There are others who believe that Musk’s potential involvement could completely disrupt the club’s identity. One fan stated he would “change everything” and be “the worst thing to ever happen”.
In other news, Liverpool would likely consider an offer for Alexander-Arnold if it reaches this fee.
