Emerson Palmieri reacts to Niclas Fullkrug’s update amid West Ham exit update
West Ham striker Niclas Fullkrug received reactions from several teammates after his latest update to supporters.
Fullkrug endured a difficult season at West Ham, marked by injury setbacks and inconsistent performances that prevented him from making the desired impact.
One of the club’s key concerns throughout the campaign was their attacking output, with the team finishing the season having scored just 46 goals – the sixth lowest total in the Premier League.
Fullkrug’s s debut West Ham season was further disrupted by fitness issues following his move from Borussia Dortmund. His time on the sidelines limited his contribution, and questions have been raised about whether he fits into West Ham’s long-term plans.
Reports suggest West Ham are open to selling Fullkrug this summer, especially as he is believed to be one of their top earners. His potential sale would free up valuable funds as the Hammers look to reshape their squad under Graham Potter.
However, despite uncertainty surrounding his future, Fullkrug’s recent update as he and his teammates returned for pre-season training prompted plenty of reaction and support from the squad.

West Ham stars react as Niclas Fullkrug shares pre-season training update
The German striker shared a post on Instagram this week as he and his West Ham teammates returned to pre-season training.
He gave fans a glimpse of the club’s first session back at Rush Green, captioning the post: “Back at Rush Green! Let’s get to work!”
The update drew a wave of support from fellow players, with Aaron Wan-Bissaka, Dinos Mavropanos and Emerson Palmieri – who has also been linked with a move away – among those to like the post.
There is growing hope that Fullkrug can build momentum ahead of the new season and, crucially, steer clear of further injury setbacks.
However, former West Ham chief scout Mick Brown previously told Football Insider that West Ham internal concerns about Fullkrug’s long-term fitness, and questioned whether the recruitment team did enough due diligence before his arrival.
The 30-year-old endured a frustrating debut campaign, missing 28 games through two separate injuries and scoring just three goals in all competitions.

Emerson Palmieri faces uncertain future amid Diouf transfer talks
While Emerson was active on social media and showed support for Fullkrug’s return, he too may be on the move this summer.
Football Insider revealed that West Ham are pushing to sign left-back El Hadji Malick Diouf from Slavia Prague, with negotiations progressing well.
It comes amid growing concerns over Emerson’s performances, as West Ham want a new left-back as a key priority for the club during this window.
With a major squad reshuffle expected under Potter in his first summer in charge, Emerson could be one of the next names to head for the exit if Diouf’s arrival is finalised.
