Aston Villa youngster Easah Suliman is on the verge of moving on loan to a League One club, according to a report.
The Birmingham Mail report that the 19-year-old is heavily sought after by League One clubs, and that Oldham Athletic are one of three third-tier clubs keeping a close tab on Suliman.
The centre-half started every game for England’s triumphant Under-19’s European Championship in the Summer of 2017, as well as captaining the side.
The young defender made his first team debut this season, being involved in the Carabao Cup victory over Wigan back in August 2017.
However, the Birmingham mail claim that he is one of Steve Bruce’s youngsters who are set to leave Villa Park this January, as clubs circle the young Englishman.
Suliman has previously gone out on loan, completing a four-month stint at League Two outfit Cheltenham Town at the start of last season.
Football Insider verdict:
Easah Suliman is going to be a very good footballer. This is evidenced by his consistent and savvy performances for the young lions in the Summer as he won the under-19’s championship. Aston Villa under 23’s manager Kevin MacDonald believes the 19-year-old to be ready for League One, and the defender has already impressed at the League Two level. If he could complete a more long-term loan deal than his last one of four months, then he will develop faster due to the larger ammount of quality game time.
