England fans rip into ‘fraud’ Cole Palmer as ‘shocking’ footage analysed
England fans were left astonished by Cole Palmer’s miserable performance in England’s unconvincing 1-0 win over Andorra.
Thomas Tuchel is three games into life as head coach of the Three Lions, and a win over Andorra saw the German boss maintain his 100% record so far.
The former Chelsea boss has overseen wins over Albania, Latvia, and now the Tricolors, as England look set to cruise through their World Cup qualification group.
However, the win over Andorra was the least convincing of the bunch so far, as Tuchel’s stars looked tired after their long domestic campaigns.
Palmer was the star of Chelsea’s season, scoring 15 Premier League goals and assisting eight more as the Blues claimed qualification to the Champions League and won the Conference League against Real Betis.
But in his first England appearance under Tuchel, the attacking midfielder endured a difficult evening in Barcelona.

Cole Palmer struggles for England against Andorra
On a warm afternoon in Barcelona, just under 9,000 spectators turned up to watch England take on Andorra.
Whilst many may have expected the Three Lions to cruise to victory over their opponents, Koldo Alvarez’s side had other plans.
Andorra were staunch and resolute defensively, nullifying England‘s attackers, and none more so than Palmer.
Despite seeing plenty of the ball, Chelsea’s attacking midfielder was ineffective and struggled to create, or convert, any chances for Tuchel’s side.
The German ultimately chose to remove the attacking midfielder in the 64th minute, replacing him with Arsenal target Eberechi Eze.

Thomas Tuchel must find solution to number 10 position for England
England’s 1-0 win over Andorra highlighted the difficulties the German boss is having with his number 10 position.
Playing Jude Bellingham in a deeper role was clearly done to improve the chance creation from the midfield, but it instead had the opposite effect.
Palmer and the Real Madrid star seemed to get in the way of each other, with both looking to occupy similar positions.
England fans were left unimpressed by the Chelsea man, with one fan calling him a “fraud” whilst another called the 23-year-old’s performance “shocking”.
