West Ham keeper Joe Hart could be on borrowed time at the London Stadium after it emerged that David Moyes was spotted in the stands on Tuesday night at Craven Cottage watching 6ft 4in giant Marcus Bettinelli as Fulham beat Leeds United 2-0 in the Championship.
According to The Sun, the Scottish manager was present to watch the 25-year-old who has been impressing in the league as the club has risen through the play offs to third in the table.
And that could spell the end of his time at the London Stadium for Joe Hart, whose loan switch to East London ends in the summer when he will return to Manchester City.
The 6ft 5in stopper has only started 16 times for the Irons and it quickly became apparent that despite returning to the Premier League in a bid to regain his place as England’s number one, he wasn’t fancied by David Moyes.
With interest in Bettinelli now apparent, it looks unlikely that the Hammers will make the loan move permanent.
The England international has been guilty of a number of errors and has hardly convinced between the sticks since his return to the Premier League from Serie A outfit Torino.
In other West Ham United news, Hammers fans will be dancing in the street after long-term big money revelation.
