English pundit makes ‘massive’ Morelos claim after confirmed Rangers transfer news
Rangers “cannot afford” to let Alfredo Morelos leave the club despite his indifferent form this season.
That is the view of former Premier League goalkeeper Paul Robinson, speaking exclusively to Football Insider about the 25-year-old’s future at Ibrox.
In an interview with Futboleros con la FAM (October 17th), the striker suggested he wants to stay at Ibrox for years to come.

Morelos has continually been linked with moving to the Premier League since his arrival to Scottish football in 2017.
He has just 18 months remaining on his contract in Glasgow.
When asked by Football Insider for his assessment of Morelos’ future, Robinson said: “It will be a massive blow to Rangers if Morelos left.
“He is vital to them, even though he’s not been in the best of form.
“The way he leads the line is brilliant and for that reason he would be a huge miss.
“At the end of the day, he’s always going to be linked with the Premier League. That’s never going to go away so long as he keeps scoring goals.
“Rangers can’t afford to let him go for me. Yes, he missed a lot of chances against Hearts but there’s no doubt that he is a top player.”

Speaking to Futboleros con la FAM, Morelos said: “I feel that unconditional support, they love me a lot, they cheer my name at every game in every stadium.
“As a player, this motivates me to keep working, keep playing well and to want to stay playing there for years to come.”
