Enzo Fernandez sends ‘special’ message to Chelsea fans pre-Tottenham clash

Chelsea midfielder Enzo Fernandez has taken to social media to rally the fans ahead of their game with rivals Tottenham on Sunday (December 8).

The 23-year-old provided an assist for Axel Disasi’s opener in Chelsea’s comprehensive 5-1 Premier League win over Southampton.

Christopher Nkunku, Noni Madueke, Cole Palmer, and Jadon Sancho scored the following four goals, sending Enzo Maresca’s side up to second, ahead of Arsenal by virtue of goal difference.

Fernandez’s assist against the newly promoted side marked his eighth goal contribution in five games across all competitions for the West Londoners.

The central midfielder’s remarkable form has seen him regain a starting spot in Maresca’s preferred Premier League squad, having been dropped to the bench for their games against Liverpool, Newcastle, Man United, and Arsenal.
