Erik Sviatchenko has revealed his delight on Twitter after Celtic won 5-2 against St. Johnstone on Sunday in his 50th appearance for the club.
The 25-year-old started at the back alongside Dedryck Boyata, as the Bhoys were pushed right to the end by Tommy Wright’s Scottish Premiership side.
But Sviatchenko and the rest of the side maintained their unbeaten league campaign, describing Celtic as a “class team” on his personal Twitter account following the enthralling win.

Celtic took the lead early on through midfielder Liam Henderson, but went into the break losing 2-1 as St. Johnstone turned the scoreline on its head.
However, Moussa Dembele was introduced on the hour mark and his 24-minute hat-trick , as well as a Scott Sinclair goal, saw Celtic earn their 23rd win from 24 games in Scotland’s top flight.
Since moving to Glasgow just over a year ago from Danish giants FC Midtjylland, Sviatchenko has become one of the Hoops’ central figures as they continue to assert their dominance over the Scottish Premiership.
During his 50 appearances, the five-time Denmark international has kept an impressive 23 clean sheets as well as scoring twice against Ross County and Old Firm rivals Rangers.
Sviatchenko is expected to keep his place in Brendan Rodgers’ side to face Inverness in the Scottish Cup on Saturday, as the 47-time Premiership champions look to win the double.
In other Celtic news, this 26-year-old should be dropped by Rodgers.
