Erik ten Hag facing sack within weeks after Man United development – pundit
Erik ten Hag remains under pressure and could be facing the sack from Man United within weeks.
That is according to Spurs expert John Wenham, who regularly breaks news about the club on his Lilywhite Rose social media channels.
Man United returned to winning ways in the league by beating Everton 2-1 on Sunday (9 October).
The Reds struggled to overcome Cypriot side Omonia in the Europa League three days previously but ground out a 3-2 win.
Wenham insists Man United are still struggling and claims Erik ten Hag remains under pressure as problems could soon start to mount.
“I don’t think Man United are out of the woods,” Wenham told Football Insider correspondent Ben Wild.
“Let’s not forget they were embarrassed by Man City a week ago and they really struggled against Omonia.
“I’m still not convinced by Ten Hag, it was Ronaldo who bailed him out against Everton, if it wasn’t for him then they might have lost that game, which would have been a huge setback.
“They played well in a few games where they went on a little run but other than that, I haven’t seen much to suggest they are going to do anything of huge significance this season.
“The pressure is still on. They have some tricky games coming up. Newcastle at Old Trafford will not be an easy game for them.

“If they lose a few of them before the World Cup then Man United might think about making a decision.
“I have said before about how I didn’t think he would last too long.”
In other news, a pundit has suggested Man United stars could desert the club as new Erik ten Hag plan revealed.
