Eriksen posts Instagram message to Tottenham fans after award win

Christian Eriksen has taken to Instagram on Monday to post a message of thanks to the Tottenham supporters.
The Danish international was named as Spurs’ supporters clubs’ player of the season for a second time in his four year spell in North London and is grateful to the fans for voting for him.
Tottenham announced that Eriksen had won the accolade on their official Twitter account on Saturday while Dele Alli won the goal of the season award for his strike against Watford.

Eriksen has been a key part in Mauricio Pochettino’s squad this term and is still hoping to help Tottenham finish the season on a high in their final two fixtures against Leicester and Hull.
“And a big thank you to everyone who voted me as there player of the year for the second time. It has truly been an amazing year. Still two games to finish off even stronger,” said the 25-year-old Monday on his personal Instagram account.

The former Ajax playmaker has made 47 appearances across all competitions for Spurs this term, scoring 12 goals and supplying 21 assists.
He was on hand to set up yet another goal on Sunday as Pochettino’s men bid farewell to White Hart Lane in style with a 2-1 win against Manchester United.
Spurs have now played their final game at The Lane as demolition work takes place in order to pave way for a new 61,000-seater facility.
The North London club will play all of their home games at Wembley for the 2017/18 campaign.
