Erling Haaland reacts instantly to Jack Grealish in Everton’s win at Wolves

Erling Haaland has swiftly responded to Jack Grealish’s sumptuous performance for Everton as they prevailed against Wolves winning 3-2.

The England international has started in scintillating form at his new club as Grealish notched two assists in Everton’s victory against Wolves (30 August).

If he keeps impressing it is very possible David Moyes will want to keep the number 18 with sources telling Football Insider that Man City would accept a permanent offer for Grealish.

The Evertonians are already falling in love with the former Aston Villa attacker after just four appearances for the club.

Erling Haaland makes hilarious joke to epitomise Jack Grealish’s creative spark

During the Everton v Wolves match, the Norwegian striker took to his Snapchat (30 August) to congratulate the dazzling performance of his temporary ex-teammate.

Haaland posted a picture, captioned: “Jack De Bruyne does it again for Everton”, making a funny reference to former City maestro Kevin De Bruyne.

Grealish amassed two assists, three key passes and one big chance created as he shone for the Toffees at the Hill Dickinson Stadium.

Jack Grealish England omission understandable

Football Insider verdict

Thomas Tuchel dropped his England squad for the upcoming World Cup qualifiers against Andorra and Serbia as the Three Lions look to maintain their flawless qualification run so far.

Of note, Grealish was left out of the squad which was a understandable decision given his lack of minutes for City and having just gotten back to playing again for Everton.

Whilst fans were mostly unanimous in their agreement for the Toffees number 18 to be left out, the decision should be fruitful to motivate the playmaker.

The World Cup at the end of the season offers an enticing opportunity for the 29-year-old to force his way back into the international setup.

Playing under Moyes will see him get an extensive amount of minutes as well as undertaking a talisman role for the blue half of Merseyside.

I’m looking forward to continue watching the “de-pepification” of Grealish as he remains highly motivated to break back into the England fold.
