Celtic player ratings v Dundee: Erratic 27-year-old a hopeless 4/10

GOALKEEPER AND DEFENCE

Celtic

Craig Gordon – 7: Returned to the Hoops goal for the first time in a month and turned in an excellent performance, it seems highly likely that we will keep his place in goal against Hamilton on Sunday

Mikael Lustig – 6: The best of the Hoops defenders which doesn’t say much, moved to a centre-back role and did well enough following a stint in his usual right-back role for most of the game

Dedryck Boyata – 4: Inexplicably kept his place in the first-team after his poor performance against Ross County on Saturday, the 27-year-old was as erratic as he usually is, especially dealing with the long ball

Jack Hendry – 4: Took the place of Kristoffer Ajer in the Hoops side, and showed why he is behind Ajer in the Hoops pecking order, didn’t deal with the long balls well enough, just as poor as Boyata

Callum McGregor – 5: Played most of the match in a left-back role which doesn’t suit him at all, the Scotland international looked far more comfortable in his usual midfield role later on
