Ethan Ampadu sends ‘unreal’ Leeds message
Leeds United captain Ethan Ampadu has sent a message to the fans following their demolition of Cardiff City on Saturday (1 February).
The Whites dominated the Welsh outfit at Elland Road by securing a 7-0 win to keep themselves top of the Championship.
Goals from Brenden Aaronson, Manor Solomon, Daniel James, Wilfried Gnonto, Mateo Joseph, and a brace by Joel Piroe wrapped up the emphatic performance.
It was Leeds’ biggest win of the season as Daniel Farke’s men flexed their attacking skills that have helped them this season.
The result kept their two-point gap over Sheffield United in the Championship while improving their goal difference to +41.
The Yorkshire giants will be back in action on Wednesday (5 February) against in-form Coventry City away from home.

Ampadu celebrated the victory on Instagram and praised his teammates for their performance against Cardiff.
He said, “Lads were unreal, 3 points and an enjoyable afternoon for you all.”
Ampadu played his part in the win from the back by helping the team secure another clean sheet as Leeds continue to impress defensively.
Farke’s men currently boast the second-best defensive record in the Championship, having only conceded 19 goals in 30 fixtures so far.
Leeds have kept five clean sheets in a row across all competitions, having last conceded on 4 January.
