Euro giants ready massive bid for Tottenham star (not Real Madrid) - report
By Guy Giles
Bayern Munich have emerged as surprise suitors for Tottenham striker Harry Kane, with the Bavarian giants keen to bring in the England star to replace Robert Lewandowski, according to a report.
Spanish outlet Don Balon claim that Bayern see Kane as the ideal replacement for Lewandowski, with the Poland’s all-time top scorer likely to leave in the summer.
The report claims that Bayern are readying a massive bid for the Tottenham striker, who is also wanted by Real Madrid.
Madrid, much like Bayern, see Kane as a perfect replacement for Karim Benzema, who is struggling for form in the Spanish capital.

This would seem to be just another fanciful story emanating from the Spanish press. There is minimal evidence to suggest that Lewandowski has any intention of leaving Bayern Munich this summer, and if he is to do so, then the most likely destination would seem to be Real. While Kane does indeed seem to be at the top of the Spanish giants’ wish list, there is no reason why the striker would leave Spurs at the current time. This would then leave Lewandowski as Real’s next probable target, and a move to Bayern would not seem to be a likely one for Kane.
