Evanilson reacts as Dean Huijsen sends ‘incredible’ message to Bournemouth fans
Dean Huijsen shared a message for Bournemouth fans after their win over Fulham as speculation grows over his future at the Vitality Stadium.
Antoine Semenyo‘s goal inside the opening 53 seconds proved to be the difference for Andoni Iraola‘s side on the south coast, winning their first game in seven attempts 1-0 to get their European push back on track.
Climbing up to eighth in the Premier League table and above Monday’s opponents Fulham, the Cherries have 18 points left to play for as they look to gatecrash the top seven before the end of the campaign.
Evanilson also struck the crossbar in the early stages as Bournemouth saw out their one-goal victory, and post-match, the Brazilian shared a message for one of Iraola’s standout players this season.

Dean Huijsen addresses Bournemouth fans as winless run ends
Not only did Bournemouth’s win over Fulham end a run of six league games without a win, but it also saw them keep a first clean sheet in eight games, with Huijsen picking up the man-of-the-match award.
Huijsen’s long-term future at the Vitality Stadium has been subject to significant speculation this term, with Football Insider revealing in March that his Bournemouth contract includes a £50million release clause.
Player | Appearances | Starts | Goals/Assists | Clean Sheets | Yellow Cards |

However, the Spain international expressed how happy he is at Bournemouth with a post on Instagram at full-time, which Evanilson responded to with two fire emojis, reflective of Huijsen’s recent form.
Huijsen’s post, on his 20th birthday no less, read: “Great win tonight for the team after a tough few games. Thanks to our incredible fans for the unwavering support in our stadium.
“And huge thank you all for the birthday wishes, I felt all your warmth and affection.”
Bournemouth fans to enjoy Dean Huijsen while they can
Huijsen’s thanks to the fans may be one of the last direct addresses the Bournemouth faithful get from the star Spaniard, who looks increasingly likely to make a big-money move away in the summer window.
Liverpool have long since been seen as the front-runners to sign Huijsen and build on their soon-to-be-confirmed Premier League title but have since been joined in the race by Chelsea and Bayern Munich.
Ex-Man United and Blackburn scout Mick Brown told Football Insider that Huijsen is “certain” to leave Bournemouth this summer with so many clubs keen on him, but it remains to be seen where he’ll head.
Football Insider also revealed last month that Champions League qualification could also see Newcastle jump to the front of the queue for Huijsen’s signature, but with Bournemouth breathing down their necks, the Cherries still have some chance of retaining him.
