Evanilson reacts to ‘only way’ message from exit-linked Bournemouth ace Milos Kerkez
Bournemouth’s record-signing Evanilson reacted to a message from Milos Kerkez on social media as the Hungarian continues to be linked with an exit this summer.
Having found themselves in the nose-bleed territory of the Premier League’s top-five earlier in the season, a winless run of six games sent the Cherries into freefall, eventually landing 10th in the table.
Tottenham target Andoni Iraola was keen to revitalise his side, and a first-minute goal from Newcastle target Antoine Semenyo against Fulham did exactly that.
Following a nervy 89 minutes filled with chances for both teams and a baffling substitution mix-up involving Ryan Sessegnon, the Cherries hung on for a win that took them above the Cottagers and up to eighth.

Milos Kerkez tells Bournemouth fans ‘only way is up’
Following the win over their fellow European hopefuls, Kerkez posted a photo of himself in action against the Cottagers, captioned: “Only way is up, never look down”.
The message was then liked by Evanilson, whom Bournemouth made their record-signing in the summer after spending £40.2million [BBC Sport] on the striker from Porto.
Whilst the Brazilian striker is just getting started at the Vitality, the Hungarian left-back’s time on the South Coast seems to be coming to an end, with Liverpool keen on signing Kerkez.
Bournemouth back in business as rivals stutter
Football Insider Verdict
Every team in and around Bournemouth has suffered from difficult patches, but the win against Fulham signalled the end of a torrid winless run.
Champions League qualification looks a step too far for the Cherries, with the gap to Man City standing at seven points with just six games remaining.
However, Fulham look unsteady, Brighton have been decimated by injuries, and Chelsea are floundering.

As such, Bournemouth are now in pole position to sneak ahead of their rivals and must use the win over the Whites to springboard a push towards Europa League qualification.
Iraola will be needing his players to continue to prove they deserve to be playing in Europe next season with tough fixtures against Crystal Palace, Arsenal and Aston Villa on the horizon.
