Their recent performance may have caught the eye as Bournemouth beat Tottenham in a 1-0 win, courtesy of Evanilson’s deflected strike.

Antoine Semenyo nominated for Premier League player of the month
After impressing in the first three fixtures of the domestic campaign, Bournemouth announced that Semenyo has been nominated for August’s player of the month for the Premier League.
The official club account posted the news on Instagram and saw a wave of reaction from his teammates, with Evanilson, new signing Adrien Truffert and Marco Senesi all liking the message.
Since joining the Cherries, the winger has established himself as a crucial player under Andoni Iraola. He has carried his momentum from last season into the new campaign, where he scored 13 goals and registered seven assists in all competitions.
The Ghana international’s performances inevitably caught the eye, with Football Insider reporting that Tottenham are among the long-term admirers of Semenyo.

Duncan Castles of The Sunday Times revealed that Man United even submitted a bid for the winger during the summer.
However, rather than depart at a time when last season’s successful squad was already being dismantled, Semenyo chose to commit his future to Bournemouth – further strengthening his bond with the supporters.
